Let the countryside come to you with Fishers Mobile Farm Our visits will enable children to have lots of hands on experience - hand feeding our animals or bottle feeding our pet lambs. Our Miniature ponies are very friendly & love to be groomed & stroked. All-in-all an exciting & rewarding experience for the children..... especially those without any previous encounters with farm animals.	Our Animals Depending on the time of year, we can bring: Pygmy Goats & kids Sheep & lambs Hens & Chicks Cockerel Dwarf Rabbits & babies Giant Rabbit & babies Miniature Pony & Foal Ducks & Ducklings Alpacas Donkey & Foal Pig & piglets Cow & calf
Our partner farm, Crabtree Farm near Kirby Lonsdale, is in an idyllic spot overlooking the rolling hills of Lancashire & Cumbria. There they rear rare breeds - Zwartbles Sheep, Kerry Hill Sheep, Badger Face Sheep, Golden Partridge Brahmas, Pygmy Goats, Kunekune Pigs, Large Black Pigs & Boer Goats. They also have 6 Jersey cows & 2 calves.....more calves due this year! The animals are reared in the traditional way - snug & warm on straw bedding in a stone barn or stable during the winter months & free to roam acres of Lancashire meadowland in the summer. All their animals are happy & well cared for - & each one is known by its own name from Primrose the cow to Alby the billy goat! Pygmy Goats make great pets (you will need a holding number from DEFRA to keep them) & you can buy them direct from Ben Heaps - as well as his animals in Kirby Lonsdale, he has another farm in Charnock Richard www.lane-endspygmygoats.co.uk We also keep some of their animals at our own at Fishers Farm in Charnock Richard. We can also bring other animals, such as Shire horses & alpacas, if we are given enough notice.
